Pharmacy First is slightly different to Care at The Chemist. This is a direct referral to the pharmacy by the practice when a patient wishes to book an appointment and is only for certain conditions.  

Accepting a referral to the pharmacy helps to free up appointments with the GP and enables the practice to see more patients on any given day.  If you are referred to the pharmacy and they are unable to to help with your condition, please contact the surgery and you will be given an appointment with a clinician at the practice which we aim to provide within 48 hours.

The service covers the below problems and the pharmacist can prescribe antibiotics for certain issues.
