Booking an Appointment

Appointments are available every day by contacting the practice when the phone lines open at 8am.  This will be answered by a trained member of our clinical support team. Appointments are available to book on the same day, however this is not always possible due to demand and availability. Please note that all of our telephone calls are recorded for training and monitoring purposes.

If there are no appointments left on the day, there are alternative options available:

  1. You can send an online request through the PATCHS link which is available through the home page of this website between 8am and 12 noon each week day.  This goes to an on-call doctor and will be responded to by a member of the The Ash Surgery team within 48 hours.
  2. A member of the clinical support team can arrange an out of hours appointment for you at South Liverpool Treatment Centre.
  3. If your request is a medical emergency and you feel that it cannot wait.  Please give as much information as possible and this will be relayed the same day to the on-call GP.  

If you do not wish to accept an alternative appointment, you are more than welcome to call back the next day.  

Please give as much information as possible to the clinical support team regarding the reason for your appointment so that this can be directed to the most appropriate clinician.  This might be a doctor, nurse, physiotherapist, pharmacist or other health care professional either at the surgery or at another community clinic.
